There's a buzz at LB HQ, as we've just published details of our new mission week. The new initiative is expected to be an annual event and we've nicknamed it "The 72", as a reminder of the way Jesus commissioned the disciples in Luke 10.
The objective in the first year is to create 12 teams of six people, each of which will be hosted by a local church. The teams will work with their host congregation to devise a programme of activities, events and services designed to bless and serve their community.
At the end of the week, a string of fun days, gatherings and guest services will help us to celebrate what God has done across the capital, and provide the opportunity for response.
We are so excited to see what God will do during this week.
