Martha feels resentful because she is doing more than her fair share of the work… sound familiar?

Martha receives a time management tip from Jesus… really? Want to know what it is?

Martha is disrespectful to Jesus. How does he take it?

Martha goes on a journey with Jesus and her faith-statement equals Peter’s.

Martha learns to like who she is and use her gifts to honour Jesus.

During this led-retreat, we will explore Martha’s journey as we meditate on God's word together and explore how to apply it so that it makes a difference to our daily lives. There will be some Bible teaching from the group leader, Shirley Skrentny. This will be followed by group discussion, reflection and prayer. There will also be time on your own for individual reflection including walking or writing in a journal or both. There will be an expectation to join in the group work but no pressure to speak about anything you are not comfortable to talk about.

The retreat is held in the comfortable Orchard Club Hotel in the heart of the quaint market town of Knaresborough, Yorkshire. Within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, there are stunning views over the river Nidd and gorgeous paths by the river bank.

The cost of the retreat includes your own en-suite room and all your meals and break-time refreshments. To book a place, please click the REGISTER NOW button, and fill in the form.
