How can we reach out more effectively in a post-Christian world?
For us, the answer is to forge relationships on neutral territory – within spaces which are familiar, comfortable and inviting. That's where our Living Room brand comes in: a growing network of characterful and quirky coffee shops which circumvent the loaded and often intimidating environment of 'church'.
Our aim is to create a flow of people through our cafes, and those in the lives of those who staff them. We do this by running popular projects that serve the needs of others: an art club or an English class. Through these we make relationships, and some of these relationships lead to faith. The greater the flow of people, the greater the chance of creating a return for the Kingdom.
